This clutch performance kit is exactly what you need to give your Quietech more pep. We also recommend removing the spark arrestor on your Quietech to help the exhaust flow better. We intentionally made this belt shorter to get the low end torque that we were looking for. This helps your clutches start out in \"first gear\", which gives you better acceleration. Due to this belt being shorter, it is a little tougher to get installed. It is possible to \"roll\" this belt on, but it does take some muscle to do it.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIf you have a 2007-2012 Yamaha G29 Drive with the TEAM clutches, you will need to upgrade to the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/powerequipmentmatrendy.com\/collections\/drive-1-2007-2016\/products\/retro-clutch-update-kit\"\u003enew style clutches\u003c\/a\u003e for this kit to work. It is not uncommon to lose 1 or 2 mph after installing a new clutch kit. As the belt gets broke in it will get more grip and improve performance of the belt and usually even gain back a couple mph of top speed.
