These are compression style springs, unlike the torsion style springs that come in the 4 and 6 rivet clutches from the factory. The compression style springs allow us to go with a stiffer spring rate which will cause your cart to rev to a higher RPM before it starts to shift out. This higher RPM will give you better acceleration and cause quicker backshifting under a load to give you more hill climbing power. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThey will only work on the newer FBT style clutches.
